Ruislip made it through to the next round of the Middlesex Cup in the easiest possible manner when Hendon were forced to withdraw, due to the fact that they were unable to field a side.
Hendon were without 15 players, absent through either injury or personal commitments.
Hendon coach, Neil Edwards, said: "With 13 senior squad players receiving treatment from the physio, plus a couple of other absentees due to non-rugby related illnesses and important family commitments, we couldn't have fielded our best team anyway."
