Senior figures from Croydon's network of health bodies joined the shop floor recently when they helped launch a flu immunisation campaign in the town centre.
Croydon Health Authority chairman Toni Letts, (pictured far left) and public health consultant Dr John Thomas (centre), helped members of the YMCA's 50+ club to hand out leaflets to lunchtime shoppers on the High Street, on how and why to get vaccinated.
Ms Letts said: "We want everyone to be as healthy as they can be this winter." Call NHS Direct on 0845 4647 or visit www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk
