A bus driver was attacked by two men who drove a car into the back of his number 109 bus, faking an accident and forcing the bus to stop on Saturday November 24.
The two robbers launched their surprise attack on the bus while it was travelling along London Road, West Croydon, at the junction of Fairholme Road and Greenside Road at 4.40pm.
The 31 year-old bus driver suffered a blow to the side of his head and bruising to his abdomen after he was dragged out of the vehicle.
He was punched in the head, knocked to the ground and repeatedly kicked, while his bus was raided for cash.
The robbers, both described as black and aged 25, fled with the driver's money float, in a red Honda Civic saloon.
Witnesses can call DC Rook at South Norwood Robbery Squad on 020 8768 1212.
