Friends and family packed into the St Peter Le Poer Church in Colney Hatch Lane to pay tribute to tiny Liam Moriarty who died in a pub fire earlier this month.
More than 100 people attended last Thursday's service for five-month-old Liam who was killed when a fire swept through the Alexandra Arms pub in Cromwell Road, Friern Barnet, on November 12. His mother Kim, who lives at the pub with her parents and partner Dominic Maher, tried to rescue Liam from the blaze but was beaten back by the flames.
Kim's aunt, Tina Moriarty, said: "It was a very moving service and it was a very nice way for them to say goodbye. It is still a really tough time for Kim and Dominic but they are coping with it as much as they can.
"It was such a tragedy and people just wanted to pay their respects and give them support."
