CHARITABLE Lunn Poly staff are asking residents to dig out forgotten foreign coins so they can raise funds for children.

While tourists prepare for the new euro currency and forget about their unspent holiday change, children with disabilities could be benefiting from the apparently worthless shrapnel. Staines High Street shoppers are being asked to show their support for disabled children's charity Whizz Kids by popping into the travel agents and handing over their unwanted change, which will help buy wheelchairs, tricycles and other mobility aids.
