WAS recently unfortunate enough to have a fall, which resulted in a broken elbow.
Yes, we do wonder about the NHS, what with newspaper and TV coverage, but I wish to say that from the time I went to Whipps Cross Hospital and passed along from receptionist to doctors, to nursing staff and eventually the orthopaedic surgeon, I was treated with the utmost kindness.
This same caring attitude continued when I was placed on Bracken Ward, where I stayed for a few days and I shall always be grateful for that.
