AFTER all the adverse publicity regarding Whipps Cross Hospital, I would like to say how well my husband was treated last week. During the early hours of last Monday, November 12, I had to rush him into hospital with suspected appendicitis.

From the time we arrived in A&E until Thursday, when he was discharged, we could not fault anybody. All the doctors and nurses were kindness itself, always with a kindly smile or a quick word, even though they were very busy.
