HAIR was lost in aid of the Acorn Appeal on Friday.
Staff at Co-operative Insurance in Johnston Road, Woodford Green, raised £2,000 by having their heads shaved.
District Manager Con Innes and four colleagues faced the chop with the help of scissor-happy barbers from The Woodford Barber Shop.
Long-haired Keith Anderson had his hippy-style locks chopped down to a short back and sides and two sales managers were bleached blond for charity.
The group were sponsored by family, friends and their company's head office to lose their hair.
All the cash raised will go to the children's unit at Whipps Cross Hospital.
