More than 40 black cabs left Wimbledon station at 8am on Tuesday to drive in convoy to the GLA headquarters, in Marsham Street, SW1.
They joined 350 other black cab drivers from suburbs around London to hand a letter to Mayor of London Ken Livingstone in protest at the policy of encouraging new black taxi drivers to work out of central London. Cabbies say it is seriously threatening their livelihoods.
