ENFIELD Jets basketball team were in action last weekend, with the U18s beating Ware 63-20 and also winning an enthralling match against their local rival St Albans.
Coach Chris Erotokritou, spurred his charges to keep their discipline and in the decisive fourth quarter with the team consisting of Declan Walsh, Haine Durrant, Onomen Edeko, Josh Rowlands and Leon Tavernier, put on a late show to record a comprehensive 52-31 win for the Jets.
On Saturday, the U16s played against Cambridge, and marginally lost 36-43.
However, in their second match the team made up for basic mistakes against Cambridge and beat Dunstable 68-17.
