A man fell to his death from a third floor window in Streatham after being pursued by police and immigration officials on Sunday.
Officers from Streatham police station joined immigration officers at an address in Streatham Hill at 4pm. They found five men in the building and began to question them, but as they did so one of them climbed out of the window and onto a ledge, from which he fell, suffering serious injures.
He was given first aid by officers until an ambulance arrived, which took him to Kings College Hospital in Denmark Hill. He was pronounced dead at 5.23pm.
The four other men were taken to Brixton police station as witnesses to the incident as police try to identify the victim.
