Students from Streatham & Clapham High School joined staff and parents at the schools cenotaph in a wreath-laying ceremony recently.
The cenotaph was erected when the school was Battersea Grammar School for Boys in memory of old schoolboys who served and lost their lives in the First World War.
The ceremony was held on November 8 in remembrance not only of those men, but of all those who have lost their lives in conflicts across the world.
Each form captain laid their own class wreath at the cenotaph.
Colonel David Williams, poppy appeal development officer, was guest of honour, and led the girls, parents and staff in a short ceremony followed by two minutes silence.
