More than 200 Harry Potter-mad children from a Tooting primary school finally came face to face with their wizarding hero last week when they took over a Wimbledon cinema.
Accompanied by 21 teachers, the 201 children from Years 2 to 6 made the long-awaited journey from Hillbrook Primary School to the Odeon Wimbledon last Friday morning to enjoy the antics of Harry, Ron and Hermione in the blockbuster film.
The children only had to pay half the total cost of the tube and cinema tickets thanks to two hallowe'en fundraising discos and donations from parents, teachers and friends of the school.
