A Tooting boy was celebrating recently after winning a writing competition organised by a Wandsworth childcare organisation.
Shevane Poyser, 10, won the competition to write a short story on the theme of being listened to, which was open to all children attending care and play groups in the borough.
The competition was organised by the Early Years Development Childcare Partnership and the Hillbrook School pupil was presented with a certificate and £10 book voucher at Battersea Park Adventure Playground, which he attended during the summer.
