Carshalton Athletic 0 Worthing 2
Carshalton could have few complaints after suffering their second home league defeat of the season on Saturday.
Paul Kennett headed narrowly wide of the Carshalton goal post after just two minutes and Ben Carrington's snapshot from the edge of the penalty area flew just past the near post.
After 28 minutes Worthing took the lead. From Carrington's low cross, the unmarked Lopez picked his spot and slammed the ball past Searle.
Carshalton's best moment of the half came when a three man move involving Danny Moore, Mark Hynes and Simon Bassey ended with Bassey's on-target shot being deflected for a corner.
Worthing killed the game within three minutes of the start of the second half. A shot from Kennett was saved at point blank range by Searle only for the Worthing player to slam the rebound into the net.
After 58 minutes Carshalton had their best chance to score. Kevin Lock found Massey in the penalty area, but the ball bobbled and his close range shot flew over the bar.
In the last minute Hegley missed a chance for Carshalton, flicking the ball just wide.
