Dulwich Hamlet boss Martin Eade is hoping his young side can pull off a shock in the FA Umbro Trophy this weekend.
He says Saturdays clash with Ryman Premiership high-flyers Billericay Town will provide an indication of the progress his team is making.
Dulwich are expecting their biggest crowd of the season and Eade knows it will be a tough game.
Im pleased with how we are progressing as a side this season but Billericay will be a test for the players.
They are in the top seven in the Premier Division. We will give this game our best shot.
To have a run in the competition will be fantastic.
It would be beneficial both financially for the club and for the players.
The players want to test themselves.
We are a very young side and want to see how far weve come.
Eade says players like James Mercer, Dave Richards, Julian Old and Eben Allen are vital for the clubs future.
I have been pleased with all of them, added Eade. They have all come a long way since I became manager.
There is a good squad of players here. They all want to learn and there is excellent enthusiasm in the dressing room.
Dulwich set themselves up nicely for the contest, sharing four goals at Bishops Stortford on Saturday.
It was 17th-placed Dulwichs second 2-2 draw in seven days.
Dulwichs goals came from Luke Edghill and an own goal.
I think we were the better side, said Eade. It was a good result for the team.
Im quite happy because we are in the middle of a run of games I feel can help us go on and become a good side.
There is a long way still to go. We want to get back into the Premier League, but that will take time.
Dulwich could have Allen back in the squad after a bout of flu and Lee Endersby is set for a place in the starting line-up after appearing as substitute last Saturday.
