Philly soul legends The Stylistics pay a visit to the Fairfield Concert Hall on Monday, December 3.
Formed (in 1968) from the amalgamation of two rival vocal groups in Philidelphia, the original quintet epitomised the city's soul sound.
Under the tutelage of Thom Bell and Linda Creed at Avco records, they recorded a string of pop and R n' B hits in the Seventies, including You Make Me Feel Brand New, Betcha By Golly Wow and Break Up to Make Up.
The Stylistics have outlasted their 70s soul contemporaries and become an established quality entertainment attraction.
Founding member Herb Murrell, commenting on the bands' longevity and enduring popularity, said: "I feel blessed.
We were fortunate to have good songs and producers. We are looking forward to seeing all our fans."
Tickets are priced at £15 and £13.
Call box office on 020 8688 9291.
