With a little over two weeks until the Fans United day on Sunday 16th December we ask all readers of the Wimbledon News and residents of Merton to turn their attention this most important matter.
Here are the final details as agreed with the police and football club:
Wimbledon v Nottingham Forest, Sunday December 16 at Selhurst Park (kick-off 2.15pm). Meet at the Thomas Farley pub in Thornton Heath in time for a 1.30pm march to the ground.
Supporters of other clubs are asked to join with WFC supporters in the ground for the game and a post-match demonstration.
All supporters of clubs attending the Fans United day are to be seated in Block S of the Arthur Wait Stand in Park Road (with, if necessary, spillover to adjacent blocks).
All these supporters, whether guests of a Wimbledon supporter or coming independently, must sit in this area.
This decision was taken by the police and the football club with a view to ensuring the safety of all fans.
Tickets cost £18 for adults and £10 concession. Fans Utd fans can buy tickets from the main box office and the ticket office by Entrance 6, Arthur Wait Stand, Park Road.
Any Wimbledon supporters with or without guests in the Fans United Block can also sit in Block S at no extra cost.
WISA asks all Wimbledon supporters to relocate to Block S to support Fans United.
Wimbledon season ticket holders must exchange the relevant season ticket voucher for a ticket for Block S.
Please do this through the Selhurst Park box office.
You can do this in advance at the box office, by post or on the day at the Selhurst Park box office.
WISA asks WFC fans to change their vouchers in advance where possible, or else as early as possible on the day. WISA will advise as soon as we have notification of the Box Office opening time.
Supporters without season tickets can purchase their tickets as normal for the Arthur Waite stand for this match from Wimbledon Football Club, Selhurst Park Stadium, London, SE25 6PY. Telephone 020 8771 8841
All Nottingham Forest supporters whether they are supporting Fans United or not will be accommodated in a section of the Arthur Waite Stand reserved for visiting supporters.
