TWELVE members of the Sharks Swimming Club returned from the 29th Guildford Games, having won 33 medals between them.
Each swimmer was graded according to their best times and all individual events were over 25 metres, except for relays.
Welling's Adam Baker won golds in back and breaststroke, plus silvers in the freestyle, three by one-length medley and four by one-length freestyle relays.
He also took bronze in the 75m individual medley and the Bernard Owen Junior Challenge Shield for being joint overall points scorer in the boys' categories. with club-mate Billy Morgan, from Grove Park.
Jamie Rushbrook, from Erith, won five medals. He took gold in the backstroke, silvers in the 75m individual medley, three by one-length medley and four by one-length freestyle relays, as well as a bronze in the breaststroke.
His sister Tina was also at her very best by winning three medals two of them gold. She won the breaststroke, improving her personal best by seven seconds, and backstroke, as well as bronze in the 75m individual medley when she set another PB by five seconds!
Sarah-Louise Casey, also from Erith, was aother double gold medalist. Her victories came in the breaststroke and 75m individual medley, plus silvers in both her backstroke and freestyle races.
Sidcup's Samantha Mercer won a gold in the breaststroke, when she cut eight seconds off her best-ever time, plus silvers in the freestyle and 75m individual medley.
Thamesmead's Kirthy Turner was a triple-medalist after winning gold in the freestyle, plus bronzes in the back and breaststroke races.
Caraline Gray, from Sidcup, won double gold in the backstroke and freestyle, an event in which James Gray won his gold.
Erith's Emma Kent took gold in the freestyle and a bronze in the breaststroke, while Swanley's Iain Ambrose won bronzes in both the three by one-length individual medley and four by one-length freestyle relays.
Bexley's Jack Conie was a gold medalist in the freestyle, and Bexleyheath's Rachel Hill was a bronze medal winner in the freestyle.
The Sharks Swimming Club holds training sessions every Monday evening at the Eric Liddell Sports Centre, in Mottingham, and encourages people with any kind of disability to join.
