SCHOOL FAIR: Crockenhill Primary School holds its bumper Christmas fair on Friday, December 7 from 3.15pm at the school in Greencourt Road, Swanley. Father Christmas will be there as well as stalls and sideshows.Raffle prizes, donated by businesses, include tickets for the Superbike championships at Brands Hatch and a trip to France with Eurotunnel. Admission is free. Donations to school funds would be appreciated.
THIRD AGE: It is 10 years since Bexley's University of the Third Age was launched and it is still going strong. It meets on the second Thursday of the month at 1.45pm in Roberts hall, behind Christ Church, in Bexleyheath Broadway. The yearly membership fee is £8. MINCE PIES: Former evacuees can relive their wartime experiences and their lives since the Second World War at a reunion, Memories and Mince Pies, organised by the Evacuees Reunion Association at Hall Place, Bourne Road, Bexley, from 1pm to 4pm on December 6. Admission is £4.
CAKE SALE: Wilmington WI market is held every Thursday from 10 to 11.30am in the Memorial Hall, High Street, Wilmington. It sells Christmas gifts, hand-made Christmas cards and homemade cakes , pies and other goodies.
