As many Brentford and Queens Park Rangers Football Club fans will agree, supporters have waited patiently for 36 years for these two sides to meet in the same division, and what happened when they did not a lot.
When Rangers were relegated from Division One last season, it made this season's campaign much more interesting and appealing.
It's such a shame that the game didn't live up to expectation.
It really was a drab affair and that's being kind.
So 'bragging rights' have been put on hold until we meet again at Loftus Road later in the season.
Fingers crossed that we get a better spectacle next time around a goal or three would be nice.
