A FACELIFT has finally been given to Swanley's police station, thanks to a donation and hard work by community workers.
Beejay Garden Supplies, of London Road, donated 150 shrubs so work on the police station's grounds could be completed.
Community service workers completed the project by planting the shrubs to add a splash of colour in the spring.
The area was cleared for planting by six community workers weeks ago but work was put on hold due to lack of funds.
A police spokesman said: "We're very grateful for the help we've had from the community service workers and the probation service, besides Swanley Town Council."
