A RESIDENT is prepared to undertake the challenge of a lifetime, just a few years after recovering from life-threatening cancer.
Mrs Jeannine Green, 53, of Winton Road, Farnborough, was given just a slim chance of survival when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992.
But, just nine years later, she has recovered fully and is now trying to raise money for a 100km walk across the Sahara desert in Morocco.
The walk has been organised by Macmillan Cancer Relief to raise funds to care for cancer patients.
But Jeannine needs to raise £1,900 to join the walk.
She is now asking for people to help her reach her target.
If you want to help Jeannine, then call her on 01689 854176.
