YEAR 9 students at Harlow secondary schools got a taste of university life as part of the University for Life project run by Harlow College and Middlesex University.
The project aims to inspire youngsters to go to college and university through a range of activities and visits, as well as meeting people who have gone onto higher education.
The selected students were nominated because they had the ability to move on to higher education but not the family history of attending college or university.
Harlow College's head of curriculum development, Christine Dick, said: "It was a stimulating experience for the college students and school pupils. We look forward to ongoing successes in the current academic year."
