Darts legend and former World Champion Eric Bristow came to Croydon
recently to give a local darts team some tips on how to improve their game.
The Crafty Cockney' threw darts and mingled with locals at the Crown and Sceptre pub, on Junction Road, South Croydon, on Thursday, November 22.
The five time winner of the Embassy World Darts Championship is on a promotional tour for Fullers Breweries, hosting darts evenings where regulars get to throw against one of the finest dart players the world has seen.
Landlady Tracey said: "It was a brilliant night and a lot of fun.
"He played darts all evening, chatting with the customers. And two of our regulars actually beat him on the night."
The Crown and Sceptre's dart's team, which plays on Wednesday nights, should now become one of the best locally, after coaching from a darts legend.
