l FUN TIME: St Michael and All Angels, in Abbeywood, spiced up its Christmas fair with a Dickens theme. Penny Parsons stepped right out of a Charles Dickens' novel to entice Molly Pike to try her luck at tombola while Edna Evans and Mary Robson played their part at the cake stall. The church hopes to raise around £2,000 from the event held in the church hall. Attractions included home-made cakes and puddings, mulled wine craftware and lots of ideas for Christmas gifts. The afternoon was completed with a visit from Father Christmas.
