Residents will get the chance to tell Kingston Council what their personal priorities for spending are for the coming financial year.
Last week, leaflets outlining the key budgetary challenges facing Kingston Council were delivered to every household in the borough.
In the coming year the council plans to spend around £857 per head of population, much lower than the outer London borough average of more than £1,000.
Managing the budget is one of the toughest tasks faced by the council and in order to spend at the same level as the council does now, it will need to find around £133 million.
However, the Government may not allow Kingston to spend this much and services in some areas will have to be cut.
The council is therefore after residents opinions so it can find the right balance between service levels and spending.
All consultation leaflets must be returned to the Guildhall by December 18, and will be entered into a prize draw for £200 worth of vouchers to spend at a high street retailer.
