Peckish patients and staff at the Nelson Hospital will soon be able to surf the web as they snack following the opening of a new internet cafe.
The Victory Caf opened at the Raynes Park site on Monday and houses four PCs one with wheelchair access that offer healthcare information via the web.
The caf is the brainchild of Rebecca Chandler and Dawn Barnett from the Nelson & West Merton Primary Care Trust.
Rebecca said: "We hope the Victory Internet Caf will be widely used by patients of the Nelson Hospital, the public, our staff and also people from other trusts. We think the caf will be a real asset to the staff and patients here at the Nelson and the local community."
