Sutton & Epsom captain and fly-half Sam Frost says they threw away a great chance of winning at lowly Winchester last Saturday.
Sutton lost 27-26 after being 17-7 ahead.
A Winchester penalty deep into injury time prevented Sutton from consolidating their second position in the table.
"The lads know that was a game we should have won," said Frost.
"Losing Jonathon Binks with a cut eye in the first 10 minutes was a factor, because it meant we were without a specialist hooker. But we gave away too many penalties through bad organisation and bad discipline."
Sutton & Epsom play Cheshunt at Rugby Lane tomorrow determined to avoid a repeat performance.
"Everyone was very disappointed with how we played and they all want to prove something to themselves," said Frost.
Sutton welcome back scrum half James Daniels, after a hamstring injury, Roger Readwin from his Royal Navy commitments, second row Graham Hill, who has recovered from his ankle injury and prop Geoff Parsons, who is available again after groin trouble.
