The golden era of radio came to Battersea on Tuesday when a pensioners' lunch club hosted an old time variety show.
Members of Battersea and Clapham lunch clubs were treated to an afternoon of song, music and entertainment harking back to the days of Max Miller, Vera Lynn, George Formby and the Andrews Sisters.
The show, entitled It's That Gang Again, played to more than 60 pensioners at Clapham Lunch Club in St John's Hill and was organised by the Peabody Trust which provides services for the elderly in Battersea.
