White Rabbits, a Mad Hatter it can only be Alice In Wonderland, which is coming to Wimbledon Studio next week.
In Lewis Caroll's classic comic satire we encounter Alice, an 18-year-old Victorian bride nervously awaiting her impending marriage.
Lulled to sleep by her mother she is thrown in to a tumultuous, colourful dream of Wonderland. She is led into Wonderland when she follows a white rabbit who is worried about being late.
After plunging down a never ending rabbit hole Alice finds herself in the magical land, encountering strange creatures and great characters, including Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Mad Hatter, a pipe smoking caterpillar, facing fears and eventually finding the strength to meet adulthood as she faces the Queen of Hearts.
In Forbidden Theatre's production, Wonderland materialises explosively before you as six actors race through more than 25 different characters, accompanied by an exciting new score and shedding feathers, frills, tarts and hearts as they perform.
Alice In Wonderland opens on Tuesday, December 11, and for full details of times and prices see the listings.
