Nearly a third of central Surbiton traders have taken part in a business consultation, spearheaded by the Independent Group on Kingston Council.
Around 130 forms were returned, which quizzed businesses on issues ranging from policing to street cleaning.
Surbiton businesses have been receiving a lot of attention in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, 26 local firms took part in the neighbourhoods pilot business forum held at Surbiton library.
Independent councillor Jan Jenner said the questionnaires will be used to develop new policies for raising the profile of businesses in the central Surbiton area.
She said: We have received over 100 completed forms from a wide range of businesses and their views on issues such as law and order, street cleaning, the environment and parking have been really interesting and will help us to develop new policies.
