BE prepared for some Ho Ho Ho as Father Christmas takes to the streets of Chingford at the weekend.

The man with the long red coat, flowing white beard and jolly laugh will be helping Chingford Rotary Club collect money for local charities.

Sort out all your spare cash and drop it into Father Christmas's collection bucket when he and his Rotary Club helpers are in the area.

The Rotarians will be out collecting in Station Road, Chingford, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, and outside Morrisons, Salisbury Hall Gardens, from 11am to 3pm on Sunday.

The following weekend, they will be rattling buckets at Chingford Mount from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, December 22, and outside Sainsbury's, Low Hall, branch from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, December 23.

The Rotary Club of Chingford regularly raises money for good causes and last year's Christmas collection collected cash for two special schools and children's hospices.
