A MAN waiting for a cab in Dartford was beaten unconscious by a gang of four thugs on Saturday, December 8.
The 37-year-old from Bexleyheath was set upon by the men while waiting for a taxi in Station Approach, Dartford Railway Station at 12.45am.
He asked the group to wait their turn after they barged to the front, provoking the taxi driver to switch off his engine and refuse to move until they went to the back of the queue.
Instead, the four yobs pounced on him and beat him unconscious.
The man was taken to Darent Valley Hospital with a broken right leg and severe cuts and bruising to his face.
Sergeant Rod Chapman said: "It was a particularly nasty attack with horrendous results."
One of the men was slim, 5ft 10ins and aged 19-24 with short dark brown hair. He wore a white shirt outside dark trousers. If you have information, call 01322 283154 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
