Youngsters at the Salvation Army's Haven children's home will have a little extra to smile about this Christmas - thanks to customers at a Croydon travel agents.
Staff at Travel Care, Church Street, started an appeal for toys to fill Santa's Suitcase in November, and handed over the first suitcase full of toys to representatives from the home on Saturday, December 8.
Travel staff have been overwhelmed by the generosity of customers and the community, who have brought in a variety of gifts, especially cuddly toys.
Branch manager Sandra Lunway said: "The toys are going to a very worthy cause and will help spread a bit of cheer this Christmas."
The last date for donations is Friday, December 14.
