THE Knights weclomed back netminder Dave Trofimenkoff for Saturday's trip to play second-placed Ayr Eagles at the Centrum Arena.
But Trofuimenkoff was soon in action, but for the wrong sort as far at the Knights were concerned, when he had to pick the puck out of his net with less than two minutes gone.
Within a minute both Knights' Gerard Adams and Eagles' Dody Wood were sent to the sin-bin for fighting.
Mike Barrie levelled in the 27th minute and Trofimenkoff then saved a penalty from the Superleague's top goalscorer, Ed Courtenay, on the half-hour.
But two minutes later, Phil Crowe restored the Eagles' lead only for man of the match Kim Ahlroos to equalise for the Knights and earn them a point.
But on Sunday, the Knights, who in midweek lost 5-3 at home to Nottingham, were hammered 7-2 by Manchester Storm after ending the first period only 2-1 down.
Moe Mansi and Trevor Roenick netted for the Knights but they were overwhelmed in the second period.
Following Tuesday's fixture at the London Arena against Nottingham, the Knights will be on their travels to play successive away games at Ayr and Sheffield.
