BELGIAN mental health professionals visited a psychiatric hospital in Dartford to see how it cares for patients.
Representatives from the Belgium Minsitry of Justice and the Brothers of Charity visited the Little Brook Hospital, in Bow Arrow Lane, to find out about foreign psychiatry.
Foreign psychiatry is the care of people with mental health problems who are involved with the law or in trouble for their behaviour.
Nurse Hans Goethals, who works at the Little Brook Hospital, organised the visit.
He said: "The aim was to allow the group to gain more ideas and a better understanding of how forensic services work in this country."
