A CHILDREN'S hospice is appealing for residents to send them foreign currency.
Demelza House, in Sittingbourne, would like residents to send in bank notes, like francs and Deutschmarks, which will cease to be legal tender when the euro arrives in January.
The money can be used to raise funds for the hospice.
If you have any foreign European notes, send them to Demelza House, Rook Lane, Bobbing, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME9 8DZ by January. Call Sue Booth on 01795 845231.
