David Lindstrom is the new head coach of Kinder London Towers for the remainder of this season, following last week's resignation of Lino Frattin.
The American play-caller joins Towers after two seasons as coach of the top Japanese side, Mitsubishi Electronics.
With previous spells in Australia's competitive National Basketball League and Americas NCAA, the 55-year-old brings a wealth of international knowledge and expertise. He was voted Australia's NBL Coach of the Year in 1987.
Towers' Managing Director Rick Taylor commented: "We're pleased to have Lindstrom involved with the Towers.
"He has worldwide experience in Australia, Japan and America as a head coach. Everywhere he's been he has had fantastic success."
Meanwhile, on the court, the Towers slipped to their seventh straight defeat in the EuroLeague Group B with an 81-58 loss Zalgiris Kaunas in front of a full house at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre.
Last Saturday, the Towers lost 101-96 at Thames Valley Tigers in a rescheduled BBL Championship due to the folding of Manchester Giants, who have been forced to drop out of the league.
This Sunday, Newcastle Eagles are the visitors to Crystal Palace for a 5pm tip-off.
