COUNCILLOR Bambos Charalambous donned his best Santa outfit on Monday to take part in a spot of yuletide logging.
The councillor was joined by his little helper Simon Parkinson, Assistant Director of Leisure Services, at Bury Street depot to advertise Enfield Council's Christmas tree recycling service.
Trees will be brought to the two recycling sites in Trent Park and Pymmes Park where they will be fed in to the woodchipper by trained staff.
Councillor Charalambous said: "There is so much waste around the festive season and many people just dump their Christmas tree in a skip or abandon it in the street. The borough has two woodchippers where residents can simply take their trees to be recycled, so even if it snows this year it will still be a green Christmas."
