STUDENTS raised more than £1,000 for charity after jumping thousands of feet from an aircraft on Saturday.
The group of nine sixth formers from Heathfield School for Girls in Beaulieu Drive, Pinner, took to the skies to help the mental health charity MIND.
They were Frances Chandrasena, Inderjeet Sanotra, Kiruththika Rudra, Shamina Bhimji, Roxana Parvizi, Kajal Patel, Reema Patel, Nisha Thakrar and Michiko Tivers.
The students saw the tandem sky dive from 12,000 feet over Hinton Airfield near Brackley as the ultimate antidote to their intensive A and AS Level courses.
Frances, who is studying to gain the grades she needs to study dentistry at university, summed the challenge up in one word as 'amazing'.
