Your article, Just How Fur Will They Really Go?, sparked a good opportunity to raise awareness of the use of animal fur in toys, teddies and fur trimmings.
Although Nauticalia claim their 'cats' are made of rabbit fur, most people will be shocked to know many unsuspecting products are made of fur that once belonged to cats and dogs.
This is imported from China and does not need to be labelled and is therefore often sold as 'fake' to those who would normally avoid real fur items.
In an animal loving country such items should be banned, and selling or buying them under the promise that 'no cruelty was involved,' is sheer hypocrisy.
