Business Link Surrey is trumpeting in the success of a county IT firm which has achieved a 50 per cent boost in turnover on the back of its advice.

The body's advisers Tony Searle and Penny Halfacre worked with Custom Networks, which recently moved to new offices in Dorking, to develop a business plan to help hunt down new clients.

According to managing director David Hunt: "Business Link Surrey has helped me focus on what we are doing. They have given us ideas and helped to make them happen.

"With their guidance we are developing the business in the way we want. We have a clear direction, we are challenged and we are financially successful."
