Do you have a bit of spare time on your hands? The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to wrap Christmas presents for needy children and people in hospital.
Last year, more than 1,000 presents were distributed to children alone, the majority of which were donated in response to GMTV's pass the parcel appeal.
People wishing to donate toys can do so by leaving them at the army centre in Benhill Avenue. Those willing to help with wrapping gifts, call 020 8642 9892.
The army band will be out in Sutton singing carols at a number of venues including the High Street.
