The Addiscombe ladies first XI stayed second in Division Three A by beating Wallington Threes 1-0.
Captain Gail Oubridge, Anne Jackson and keeper Debbie Davis all had good games, while in midfield Amanda Aston put in a terrific performance.
Addiscombe's goal came from Michelle Glaister direct from a short corner. Afterwards the Wallington net seemed to live a charmed life and Addiscombe had to settle for the 1-0 scoreline.
The Addiscombe ladies second XI remain unbeaten in the league and lie in top spot in division Six after a 3-0 away win at Richmond Fives.
A Claire Messom hat-trick did the damage for Addiscombe with Claire now on 11 goals in her first season of hockey.
Croydon ladies MO's beat Thames Valley 2-1 away to consolidate their second place in Surrey League Division Six over the Christmas break and keep the pressure on leaders Addiscombe.
Despite going 1-0 down, MO equalised after Sonia Copland fed Heidi Owen to smash the ball into the goal. The winning goal came from a short corner with five minutes remaining when Lisa Owen scored.
Having scored a hat-trick last week, Kenley forward Jane Swale went one better with four goals this week as Kenley ladies second XI thrashed Mid Surrey 4-1 in this Surrey League Division Five match on Saturday.
After Swale scored her second goal, Mid Surrey made it 2-1.
But after half-time Swale bagged two more to put the game beyond Mid Surrey. Player of the match was defender Bonnie Macey.

Purley Walcountians' recent good run of form has put them at the top of the league but they had to settle for a solitary point after they drew 0-0 on Saturday.
Purley missed several chances in the first half and were grateful to their solid defence in the second for keeping Wimbledon at bay.
Captain Becky Letchford, deserved player of the match honours for her efforts in keeping a clean sheet.
Purley play Richmond in their next fixture in January.
