I knew it was too good to last. For the first time in 33 years Hackbridge and Beddington Corner had a good, reliable bus service to Sutton.
So what are they doing? Instead of the bus turning round at Hackbridge, they are sending it into Mitcham a sure recipe for disaster.
I know there will be three buses an hour instead of two but on a bad day it can take half an hour to get to Mitcham from Beddington Corner.
The alternative is to walk to Hackbridge and wait for the 151, but this bus service only seems to be able to run two or three at a time and never at the time stated on the timetable.
