LEYTON ORIENT Under 16 ladies team grabbed their fifth win on the bounce with a 7-1 win against Sawbo at the weekend that leaves them top.
In difficult conditions the Os dominated the early exchanges, with only the woodwork saving Sawbo on occasions. But a brace from Lizzie Tucker and a goal from Natalie Jasper gave Orient a three goal advantage at the break.
The second half was one way traffic, as Tucker completed her hat-trick for her 26th of the season and Jasper got her second and 16th of the campaign.
Keisha Beckford and Sherry Goodchild completed the scoring with Sawbo only managing a consolation goal.
The U13s were taught a valuable lesson, when after dominating the majority of their match with Redbridge Raiders, a last-minute equaliser saw them only draw 2-2 in a game they could have easily won.
The U14s fared better though with the girls team chalking up a 5-0 home win against Stevenage Borough Vixens.
