AT a time when commuters are being urged to use public transport and keep cars out of central London, it is typical that Enfield Council should contemplate destroying off-street parking for 50-plus vehicles adjacent to Enfield Chase station in Gladbeck Way.
These vehicles will doubtless now be joining the other cars which are already parked all day in Gladbeck Way a narrow residential road with dangerous bends.
Can our council get nothing right?
PETER EDWARDS,
Gladbeck Way,
Enfield.
