Saucy comedian Benny Hill is known throughout the world for his racy humour. He also wrote some rather witty songs too including the No 1 hit Ernie (The Fastest Milkman In The West). But most people will remember the theme tune to his television series by Boots Randolph called Yakety Sax the one where Benny runs around after beautiful women with a leer on his face.
This infectious anthem has been turned into a dancefloor tune simply called Benny which is out on Monday, December 17. It's been mixed by pop entrepreneurs The Trixsters so it's ready, just in time, for all this season's parties.
The Trixsters line-up includes Chesham girl, Samantha Vale, who had only just finished her A Levels this year at Amersham & Wycombe College before being spotted at the dance auditions and recruited.
Samantha says: "It's been lots of hard work. "Firstly working out a choreography to the dance mix. Then working on the video, which was even more exhausting but fun. "Actor comic, Don Estelle, from It Ain't Half Hot Mum, pretended to be Benny and Page Three Girl, Jo Hicks, the obvious focus of his desire, while The Trixsters are doing the Benny dance."
The video will be out soon but in the meantime listen out for Benny which will drive your ears to distraction and your legs to exhaustion. If you want to lead the dance checkout the image above.
