Two films full of the feel-good factor will be screened at the David Lean Cinema, Croydon Clocktower.
Labelled as a modern day Cinderella story, America's Sweethearts, above, starring John Cusak, Catharine Zeta Jones and Julia Roberts, is being shown tonight at 6pm. If you can believe Ms Roberts is ever capable of being an ugly sister' then this movie is a lot of fun with a fairy tale happy ending.
From Friday, December 14, the classic It's a Wonderful Life, below, will be screened until December 23.
This is the ultimate feel-good film, starring James Stewart and a superb ensemble cast including Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore. It's a high spirited Christmas tale directed by the immortal Frank Capra and ranks as an all-time favourite of fans and critic alike.
